Overview

Yêzi-píena Bî was founded durring the late 14th century in spring of the year 1256, by Syllaemus Brëkarë. The establishment of Yêzi-píena Bî was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Syllaemus Brëkarë electing to pay people to resettle in Yêzi-píena Bî.

Yêzi-píena Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yêzi-píena Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Yêzi-píena Bî is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of narrow paverstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Yêzi-píena Bî's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The political statment focused walls have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Yêzi-píena Bî shows Yêzi-píena Bî as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The town has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Yêzi-píena Bî places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Yêzi-píena Bî was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Yêzi-píena Bî lost 280 people, 139 livestock, and 94 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 54, when members of Yêzi-píena Bî's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific war supplies to a particular vault unharmed. The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Yêzi-píena Bî's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Yêzi-píena Bî's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
